Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Calicut Drive to Wayanad
Arrival in Calicut railway station, meet our executive there and drive to the Wayanad. Enroute visit Ecopoint and chain tree. Reach Wayanad and check in the resort after fresh up proceed for sight seeing visiting Kuruva Dweep Island – Kuruva Dweep Island is 950 acres of evergreen forest surrounded by east flowing river, kabani. Back to resort. Over night stay in the resort.
Day 02: In Wayanad
Morning, after breakfast, you are off for a full day local sightseeing during, which you will be led to the famous Edakkal caves. There are three (3) caves, located at a height of 1000 mts on Ambukuthi mala near Ambalavayal. The new Stone Age pictographic, writings on the walls of these natural caves at Edakkal are the indication of the civilizations that existed in the regions in the pre-historic times. Afternoon proceed to Soochippara Waterfalls. Its surroundings offer a number of vantage points for bird-watching. Post lunch proceed to Ambalavayal Heritage Museum Back to the Resort by evening. Overnight stay in the resort.
Day 03: Departure / Check out
After Breakfast, check out from the Resort, preceding you can visit Pookot Lake, and Banasura dam. Evening drop at Calicut railway station. Our tour end here with a transfer to Calicut railway station according to the train times. Back home with sweet memories of “God’s Own Country”.
